Resignation Not Accepted

Dear all,

I need advice on possible course of actions I can take.

I resigned from my job after 6 years of work, the notice period as per Qatar Labour laws applicable is 2 months.

But the employers by email informs me, they DO NOT accept resignation and I must work as usual / normal ways ?

I have asked the employer to allow me go with dignity but he says NO YOU DON'T GO! Its amazing how they behave!

I need good thoughts from all of my Doha friends what options I have to move.

hoz they can stop u when u no want to do any more with them and as per legally way u r giving then Resignation notice of 2months, if u r on employer sponsor then leave to go on work, lastly they have to terminate u automatically. 2nd if u r father r husband sponsor, complete month, take ur salary and say Goodbye to them!

also contact labour department and human rights commission doha.

You are also seek advise from Indian Embassy (if you are an indian) or your concerned Embassy.

Moreover, don't pay attention to work...they will finally have to terminate the contract.! lol

review your terms of contract with your company...

then go straight to Qatar Labor Ministry with your plans.
