family visit visa expired

Could anybody tell me how many mos is required after the family visa expired.
The story was:
6 mos visa for my son expired and I need to sent him back to the phil alone. he's 8yrs old , we actually in the process of transferring him under my sponsorship when our company laid off employees including me , I am now working in another company using my previous sponsor because my RP will due on 2010,, we applied for a family visa again on the 1st mo he left Doha but till now the application has been postponed could somebody tell me why?, we are planning that after he comes back here we'll starts to process his rp, but just one query, how,because my previous sponsor will not give me supporting letter can my present employer help me with this matter?

Goodday 2 u. i brought my family in Visiting Visa (6 month) due to unavailability of 5 month bank statement. Now when i am trying to apply for family visa with 5 month bank statement along with 1. Indian Embassy attested marriage certificate 2. copy of wife passport. 3. copy of my qatar id 4. Endorsement in both passports 5.5 month bankstatement (attested) but salary only 7000qr 6.copy of my degree certificate (engineering) and visa is also engineer visa 7.Company approval letter. But the family visa application was rejected recently. This statement is as per our PRO who is dealing this visa processing & the reason to reject is also not know.

Can any gentleman suggest me to comeover this issue, pls.
