Is it possible to change my sponsor even I am in doha less than 6 months?
I am nearly 6 months with my current sponsor, but they are changing my sponsor to an outsourcing company but will still work to my current company. Is this possible? because someone told me that it is not allowed to transfer sponsorship if someone is below 1 year here in qatar. Anything I can do if I don't like to be transferred to another sponsor? Any valid ground I can use for me not to be forced to sign a new contract to this new company? Thanks for the valued reply...
thanks for the replies! but my company is transferring my sponsorship for qatarization issues but still I will be working with the same company. They are now on the process of transferring, how is that? Any legal issues on this?
Yes, that is true. If you transfer your sponsorship to a person/firm, you cannot change/transfer sponsorship for 1 year.
But your sponsor can "second" you to another company. i.e. you'll still be under your original sponsor's sponsorship, but can work for the other organization.
