Greetings!

What are all the documents required to obtain Qatar CID clearance and onboarding processes for newly arriving in Qatar.

Does this require an attested PCC from India! Or is CID clearance enough to get after coming to Qatar?

I asked yesterday; nobody answered this thread. I spend searching the new CID and Forensic Lab office for almost one hour at Salwa Road. It is moved towards Industrial Area on the road towards Aqua Park. After Industrial R/A; go straight  crossing the Salwa road and the first bridge keep looking at the sign boards before the intersection and second bridge on the right hand side. This may help.

Ntasa, I had a note from you enquiring about how my clearance worked out recently. Mine got cleared in one week flat. I was not required to submit labour or educational certificates in the end. They only asked for a copy of my last CID clearance.

Hey guys, my first application for CEID clearance was failed/rejected and the company said they had resubmitted my application. Any idea what is the process and how long does it takes for the result of the resubmission? Anyone experienced resubmission? Please share. Thanks!

Dear Laksh, thanks for your reply. From what you say your degrees are not required at the time of CID submission. I'm putting in my papers shortly and I'll let you know how it goes. wish me luck!

actually, they never mentioned anything about going to the MINISTRY OF LABOR., (obtaining labor department approval is one of the listed requirements in my offer letter) they only asked me to do my medical and CID clearance, which is still pending.

Dear The Recruiter,

The process which I am sharing it with you all is the one which I underwent. Whatever was asked to me for a prospective job process I had to undergo all these. Because when you are advised by the employer to go to Labour to submit the docs for their approval, one of the main document required is your degree certificate duly attested exactly the process I stated above, that I underwent.

So I am unable to say anything on your comment as to why you were not asked the same way, this has to be clarified with your employer. Overall, if you dont want any delay, just exactly do what they tell you to do at that moment without any assumptions based on the info you already received.

Good Luck.

"....attestation of certificates, will be required when you go to labour after your successful Medical test, CID clearance. You have to take the offer letter, passport copies, ID copy, copy of the certificate (Mainly degree) the original should be certified by Ministry of Interior & Human Resources, India, and then when you receive the certificate from India after attestion, you have to go to Indian Embassy here, get it attested, followed by the certificate to be taken to Qatar's MOFA, Mughanlia (Next to Al Bustan Hotel) get it attested. Please note that Qatar's MOFA will attest your certificate only if it is attested by Ministry of Interior & Human Resources from India, followed by attestion by local Indian Embassy......"

Im about to finish my requirements medical, CID clearance

but for LABOR APPROVAL my company (government-owned) did not discuss anything REGARDING ATTESTATTION OF CERTIFICATES BY home country's ministry and then Qatar's MOFA....

im confused if i will still do these or not, if this rule for all government company???

Dear ICY,

For CID clearance, you need only letter from your employer, and your ID, with passport copy. YOu have to submit that in AZIZYA where the CID office is located. They will take the docs along with an applicable fee, and will advise you to come after 10 days to collect it. this is the process to get CID clearance.

attestation of certificates, will be required when you go to labour after your successful Medical test, CID clearance. Please note that Qatar's MOFA will attest your certificate only if it is attested by Ministry of Interior & Human Resources from India, followed by attestion by local Indian Embassy.

This process is purely required to submit the papers for labour approval.

So both are two different requirements.

Hope this clarifies.

I'm an RP holder and a Qatar resident for many years. My new employer has told me to go through a CID clearance first for which I will need to submit a letter from my company, an NOC from my sponsor,a PCC attested by MOFA. Can anyone clarify with regards to education certificates - would I need to get the originals attested by my home country+Indian Embassy here+MOFA? Or are they not required towards CID clearance. MOFA has said they can only attest copies if the originals have been notarized in the home country plus at the home country's embassy here, but at the same time they are not sure if this is definitely a CID requirement in my case.

Maji08, I think there is only one building for Application submission i.e Building No 2 where in you will take your papers( NOC from your present company, Letter subjected to CID from your new Employer, Passport Copy,2pp pics, PCC from your home Country(Embassy) attested with MOFA, Degree certificate) they will verify it and tell you if they need any thing more, if every thing is ok they will tell you to go to Finger printing section (building NO 11/12) and ask you to come back after you finish Finger Print scanning, then you will pay QAR 10 from ur Card ,then they will give you acknowlegment receipt and will tell you to come back after 10days Which is very early I believe.... This is the process for change of Sponsorship... what about you, can you explain me, are you working in any place or you under father/husband sponsorship, is the procedure different for it I dont know....

Dear Maji08,

They did not ask you because being a resident of Qatar, you must have already done your finger print for your RP, which is saved in their comuter records. When you apply for CID clearance for a job offer, they will check on the computer your finger prints, which they will use it to process your certificate.

This was done in my case both in medical and CID clearance obtained for a job offer.

Hope it is clear now.

Thnx Laksh65, at last i received a good answer... My only problem now is why they did not ask me for finger printing? they only ask me to sign on the form that they filled-up...

By laksh65• 15 Jul 2009 10:13

Yes Maji08, because I am also under husband's sponsorship, for a prospective job offer from semi-government, I went through the same proess. They asked only my passport and letter from the company and told me to come after 20 days. But I checked back after 12 days, I got the certificate.

Dear QLER Friend,

Once you get the job offer from the company, the employer will also give you the letter issued to do the following

(1) letter addressed to Medical commission for Medical

(2) Letter addressed to CID Office, for CID clearance.

If you have the letter, you have to take this along with your passport copy, original ID as well as a photocopy, with photos, go to CID office in Azizya, hope you know the location - if not - here is (direction - from Decoration R/A go to third r/a and turn right and first right, on your left you will see the office, go to building No.1 or 2 not sure, please get it confirmed) they will take your finger prints and the documents, you have to pay a fee through your card, no cash is accepted. You will be asked to come after two weeks or 20 days. You can collect the clearance certificate by showing your ID card.

Hope this information is helpful to you.

regards,
