am in the grade 12. i am studying the pre-engineering subjects but i want to go in the field of graphic design. i have no concept that what kind of courses are required to make a portfolio. i want to make the best portfolio so that i can get admission in VCU.
In VCUQ as they provide fine arts courses.. they give more importance to hand drawings. If you are good at drawing then go straight to VCU, there they will give you a list of things they want you to draw (around 6-8) (it'll be same for all) + you can add your personal drawings with that and submit by december/january for next year's enrollment.
They will then evaluate all the admissions and then call you within one months time ( i guess not quite sure ).
And yeah you can even apply for Sheikha Mozah's complete Scholarship programme. They will give you this years subject for the competition when you goo there.
Its better you goo straight to VCUQ or call them up and ask, they will give you all the informations you need.
Anywyz i've heard its not difficult to get an admission over there.. as long as you are not tooo bad in drawing.
