2 yr old girl strangled by pet snake
A two-year-old girl has been strangled to death in her bed by a pet python which escaped from its cage in the middle of the night.
The eight-foot Burmese python broke out of a terrarium and killed toddler Shaiunna Hare in her bedroom in Florida.
Charles Jason Darnell, the snake's owner and boyfriend of the child's mother, went to the little girl's room when he realised the reptile was missing.
He found Shaiunna in the snake's deadly grasp, with bite marks on her head.
Darnell stabbed at the snake until he was able to pry the child away, but the infant was dead by the time emergency services arrived.
So Sad:(
It is a very smal snake?
Hmm.... its so sad.. poisonous pet , huh .. ny ways its soo tragic
A snake will ALWAYS BE a snake...no matter how you take care of it. They will bite you and kill you when given the chance. How in the world would someone find a snake to be used as a pet? Are they just moron or what?
It's not because things are difficult that we don't dare, it's because we don't dare that makes things difficult!
You can always take out animals from the wild but not the wild out of animals... Snakes particularly Pythons are working purely on instincts.
would keep such an animal in their home!
Even cats kill children by smothering them,,,but a large snake??
Negligence.
Another case where I find the culpability lies with the so called owner. Absolutely tragic , people can be such morons.
darn! how could people be so negligent?
Life's a bitch and then you die! ;)
So tragic. Another case of an innocent child killed by a dangerous pet.
The moron should be prosecuted. There should be a law against dangerous pets being kept in homes with children..
.......oh that's sad!! :o(.........
