Spouse VISA
Hello Everybody,
I was searching the forum but could not get a concrete answer to my question. I have recently received the job offer and the VISA from my employer in DOHA. I am in India at the moment and need to relocate to DOHA in a month. However, the employer hasn't provided any VISA for my wife. They have advised me to apply for residence VISA after reaching QATAR then apply for my wife's VISA under my sponsorship after getting the residence visa. Please can you answer to below queries? It would be of great help.
1. Is it the normal process being followed?
2. Does it take 2 weeks to process the residence visa?
3. Does it take 2 to 4 days to process the spouse visa under husband's sponsorship?
4. What all documents would I need to submit in Doha for applying for my wife's visa under my sponsorship?
5. Will all these documents need to be translated to arabic and signed by qatar embassy in India?

make sure ur basic salary is more than QR 7500.
Thats the requirement for spose visa.
get ur original educational cert and marriage cert attested and stamped from new delhi and ministry of forign affairs before u come to doha.
Get the originals and make sure ur spose name is added to ur passport and ur name is added to ur spose's passport.
having above things in place will make it easy for u to get the visa.

In my case it was more easy because my company took care about everithing, but find here my answers :

In my case takes 7 days, once you did your medical, between 2 to 3 days later you go for fingerprinting and in my case the next day i got my ID and RP

Does it take 2 to 4 days to process the spouse visa under husband's sponsorship?DEPENDS ON VARIOUS THINKS, NORMALY YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO PROVIDE 3 to 6 MONTHS BANK STATEMENTS (depends on your salary) DEPENDS ALSO ON YOUR NATIONALITY, YOU ALSO NEED TO PROVIDE A VALID RENT CONTRACT FROM YOUR LANDLORD, AND OF COURSE YOUR ORIGINAL MARIAGE CERTIFICATE STAMPED FROM QATAR AUTHORITIES IN INDIA
