Science between today and Yesterday
Do you remember the Italian scientist Galilio? How did his life ended?
Well lets know about him first, here is some information about him:
Galileo Galilei (15 February 1564[2] – 8 January 1642)[1][3] was an Italian physicist, mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher who played a major role in the Scientific Revolution. His achievements include improvements to the telescope and consequent astronomical observations, and support for Copernicanism. Galileo has been called the "father of modern observational astronomy,"[4] the "father of modern physics,"[5] the "father of science,"[5] and "the Father of Modern Science."[6] Stephen Hawking says, "Galileo, perhaps more than any other single person, was responsible for the birth of modern science."[7]
The motion of uniformly accelerated objects, taught in nearly all high school and introductory college physics courses, was studied by Galileo as the subject of kinematics. His contributions to observational astronomy include the telescopic confirmation of the phases of Venus, the discovery of the four largest satellites of Jupiter, named the Galilean moons in his honour, and the observation and analysis of sunspots. Galileo also worked in applied science and technology, improving compass design.
Galileo's championing of Copernicanism was controversial within his lifetime, when a large majority of philosophers and astronomers still subscribed to the geocentric view that the Earth remained motionless at the centre of the universe. After 1610, when he began supporting heliocentrism publicly, he met with bitter opposition from some philosophers and clerics, and two of the latter eventually denounced him to the Roman Inquisition early in 1615. Although he was cleared of any offence at that time, the Catholic Church nevertheless condemned heliocentrism as "false and contrary to Scripture" in February 1616,[8] and Galileo was warned to abandon his support for it—which he promised to do. When he later defended his views in his most famous work, Dialogue Concerning the Two Chief World Systems, published in 1632, he was tried by the Inquisition, found "vehemently suspect of heresy," forced to recant, and spent the rest of his life under house arrest.

His research is in Agrrement with what came in the holy Quran.
Also let us remember why today many say the breastfeeding is the best for the new born for the 1st two years? The answer is clear as researches shows the huge nutrition which the mothers milk has and that the baby needs it and now we understand why in the holy Quran it is clear order for the mothers to breast feed their babies.
Also the story of our prophet Sulaiman when the ant said to the other ants hide so that Sulaiman and his soldiers do not crush you!!!
One scientist said how can ants be crushed? Only solid things can be crushed.
Today some scientists discovered that the ants body consist of small percentage of glass and as we know glass can be crushed.
But what is wrong when we use references?
Khalid can you do anything but copy and paste?
This makes you a theological ventriloquist.....
do you ever ever have an original thought????
No Khalid, people don't know everything in this world.
Khalid
Look for something which is not yet invented but there in Quran, may be you can be just another Galileo. Good luck.

Tallg I think you think and assume that people knows every thing in this world.
I'm sorry I can't suspend my common sense enough to agree with you.
If God wanted our prophet Mohammad to know every thing he would have done so.
But is on purpose so that the people continue the search of knowledge and science.
The Nasa invasion of space was something new for people.
In the Quran it says
"O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass!"
Explaination:
This authority is the knowlege and science.
Once again Khalid, you're doing more to alienate your religion than draw people towards it. Stop trying to prove things to others and just believe what you believe in for your own reasons.
It doesn't say anything about splitting the atom. It says, " He [i.e., Allah] is aware of an atom's weight in the heavens and on the earth and even anything smaller than that..." So it's saying THEY DON'T KNOW IF THERE'S ANYTHING SMALLER, BUT HEY, LETS JUST SAY, IF THERE IS, GOD KNOWS ABOUT IT. (cover our bases, lets say).
Now if it had given detailed instructions on how to split an atom, you may have made a believier out of me. But otherwise what you just quoted is no different then me saying "Somewhere, in a galaxy far far far away, there is other life." It's a theory, or a hypothesis, or me hedging my bets, since I don't describe exactly what life, I just say life.
As for assuming that Mohammed left stuff out because "God knew" we would make greater medical finds later on, well, that's just silly. He left it out because he didn't know about it.
Many centuries before the onset of Muhammed's prophethood, there was a well-known theory of atomism advanced by the Greek philosopher, Democritus. He and the people who came after him assumed that matter consists of tiny, indestructible, indivisible particles called atoms. The Arabs too, used to deal in the same concept; in fact, the Arabic word dharrah commonly referred to the smallest particle known to man. Now, modern science has discovered that this smallest unit of matter (i.e., the atom, which has all of the same properties as its element) can be split into its component parts. This is a new idea, a development of the last century; yet, interestingly enough, this information had already been documented in the Qur'an which states:
" He [i.e., Allah] is aware of an atom's weight in the heavens and on the earth and even anything smaller than that..."
Undoubtedly, fourteen centuries ago that statement would have looked unusual, even to an Arab. For him, the dharrah was the smallest thing there was. Indeed, this is proof, that the Qur'an is not outdated.
Another example of what one might expect to find in an "old book" that touches upon the subject of health or medicine is outdated remedies or cures. Various historical sources state that the Prophet gave some advice about health and hygiene, yet most of these pieces of advice are not contained in the Qur'an. At first glance, to the non-Muslims this appears to be a negligent omission. They cannot understand why Allah would not "include" such helpful information in the Qur'an. Some Muslims attempt to explain this absence with the following argument: "Although the Prophet's advice was sound and applicable to the time in which he lived, Allah, in His infinite wisdom, knew that there would come later medical and scientific advances which would make the Prophet's advice appear outdated. When later discoveries occurred, people might say that such information contradicted that which the Prophet had given. Thus, since Allah would never allow any opportunity for the non-Muslims to claim that the Qur'an contradicts itself or the teachings of the Prophet, He only included in the Qur'an information and examples which could stand the test of time."
However, when one examines the true realities of the Qur'an in terms of its existence as a divine revelation, the entire matter is quickly brought into its proper perspective, and the error in such argumentation becomes clear and understandable. It must be understood that the Qur'an is a divine revelation, and as such, all information in it is of divine origin. Allah revealed the Qur'an from Himself. It is the words of Allah, which existed before creation, and thus nothing can be added, subtracted or altered. In essence, the Qur'an existed and was complete before the creation of Prophet Muhammed, so it could not possibly contain any of the Prophet's own words or advice. An inclusion of such information would clearly contradict the purpose for which the Qur'an exists, compromise its authority and render it inauthentic as a divine revelation.

It was revealed. Much of it was common knowledge. Go to the Islamic Art Museum and they explain to you the process of knowledge flowing from Ancient Egypt and Mespotamia to Greece & Rome, back to Syria, Jordan & Iraq, back to Europe. Also keep in mind that the Middle East was a hub for knowledge coming from India & the Orient.
If what you say was true then why it was not revealed?
The holy Quran came to enlighten the people and open their mind towards knowledge and science.
Our prophet Mohammed told us to ask for knowledge all the way tell we die.
Everyday pass we learn new thing.
And those results matched what the Greeks, Romans and Mesopotamains discovered centuries before the Quran.
What is amazing is that this was mintioned in the holy Quran
I suppose science and religion dosen't mixed well. The success Galilio earns are the result of hard works, not miracle. Science achievement bears evidence and materials that we enjoy today
