Ok...thanx SL, NK, QM for the info....price is high here, as compared to many other countries. 16 GB 3G is available in india at 35000 INR (2900 riyals)offcially without any contract.
Its better to wait for the official launch. we might get some good scheme like they have in USA.

If you mean the newly released 3Gs iPhone, Then you have to wait before it becomes available. It is scheduled to be released in UAE and Saudi in August. Right now it is only the only official unlocked 3Gs is being sold in Italy for about 700 Euros.

...lulu hypermarket is having it at the moment...its almost 3.5K for 16gb..i went to see yesterday. check with a store in al meera supermarket as well...their price for 16gb is almost the same...but no one will give u guarantee or warrantee as the i-phone is yet to be realeased officially here in doha. The guy also told me not to update the software if i buy it..hope this hels
