need advise on work contract legality

hi all,

new to doha but unhappy as the accomodation provided was of below basic standards and was not clearly stated in the letter of offer.

I am holding a mgmt position in a company and appalled when the accomodation provided was of such below basic standards. In my home country the accomodation provided here for me is similar to those foreign labours. I have tried asking for a better accomodation but to no avail.

I did not intend to move across the world for a ***-hole that I am staying in. I am trying all measures to get out of the company. My question is Option 1 is to get another job and will that be possible since I am sponsored by this company. i have not signed any contract in Doha. I did however signed the offer letter in my home country; the offer letter stated my position, salary, duration of contract. Is this considered a valid contract? From my understanding this is not a contract but as we all know in Qatar anything is possible

Option 2 is to just pack and leave.

I think Qatar is a decent place and would have liked to explore the place but not happy in the home front.....I try not to take option 2 because I have worked and lived in other countries and the accomodation here is the worst ones I have ever encounter in my lifetime.

Appreciate some advise. Thank you in advance!
