Cost of Boarding a Pet Cat??
Hi, I did some searching for this info but to no avail. Can anyone provide average cost per day of boarding a cat in Doha? I'm trying to figure out fi I will be able to afford traveling and putting my kitty up for a week-2 weeks at a time if I bring her out there with me next month when I move. Thanks!

Most people I know just arrange for one of the maid's of their neighbors/friends to care for the cat for the summer.

Alternatively you advertise in QL if anyone want to adopt for the period you on vacations.
Pampered Pets and Paws & Claws both have indoor/outdoor enclosures whilst The Veterinary Surgery and Qatar Veterinary Centre have indoor only facilites.
Boarding costs between QR35 and QR50 a day depending on where you go. This should include everything your cat will need over its vacation.
Please be aware that the summer is one of the busiest times of the year and most places will be fully booked until August. The catteries will all be booked up for the December break by October as well so book well in advance!

I've taken him here every summer and other holidays for 4 years. I think it's one of the only places that has an indoor space AND outdoor space for each cat. (most only are a metal cage)
They charge 45QR a day + 5QR day if it's summer (for the A/C)...
It's way out of town, so if you are short on time they pickup or drop off in town for 100QR.
There are several other places but I'm not sure of their websites...
