Why is it so that hair is falling in such an alarming rate after coming to Doha? somebody told me its quite common here. Is it true? what can i do to stop it? please help me. People used to envy my hair. it was so thick and black. but i think in 2 months time there will b no such thing on my head. it may sound like a joke, but i m serious. i m really worried.

Always remember, beautiful hair adds beauty to a personality and it is only a healthy body that can be capped with beautiful hair. So eat well, and make sure, no chemicals for your crowning glory.

Our hair is actually protein matter called keratin.

I think we need to listen here (too klahmer). Please share your advise.

My experience though is: avoid hot water. I wash hair with the colder water that comes from tap first and then take full bath with hotter water pouring next (and avoid it on hair).

Regards

i always turned off the heater...

hot water is really not good for the hair...

u can also use hair oils even once a week...

& take some vitamins for hair like Nature Plus Ultra Hair

it helps reduce hair loss (strengthens hair)

and promotes natural growth...

I can see, today all QLers become dermatologists.

Tomorrow what will be our specialty?

Great, all the water in Kerala is Herbal!

I wud like to know the name of the herb which produces so much water.

And kudos to the municipality for supplying so much herbal water.

You turn that heater off and mix it with the roof water for a cool shower...It does not last long so yes you have to be quick. But it works...Works for me...:)

You can't teach experience...

I think you came from kerala. In kerala all water is herbal mixed. But here it is full of chemical treated water.Sea water treated for common use. So all chemicals are available in the water.Dont take hot water directly to your head. As the above people told stored cold water can be used for head bathing. Avoid stress. But it can not be avoided here.So do yoga for peace of mind.

Dont go out in hot sun.

Use herbal shampoos. But this experience will teach you how to avoid hair fall in future.

I guess its all to do with the water beside u have to avoid certain shampoos that even exacerbate it further.certainly the climate makes a difference.i myself need help on that if any of u can,i would appreciate it.a friend told me to use a specifc shampoo and honestly it's been helping and i can see much difference than it was.
