New to Qatar
Hi there, we are moving to Doha from Dubai and are desperate looking for a school for our 5yo girl and our 7yo boy, we have send applications to lots of schools and have only heard from the new sherborne school, they seem to have some spots for them, now the next trick is to find a compound close to the school, does anybody now about a good one?? we will be going to Doha for the first time next week and have no idea where to start looking. Help!!!
Will check that area for sure, we really want to be close to school, somebody recommended Al Waab to us, do you know if its in the same area?? we will be moving on the 15th of august, maybe we can get the children together sometime for a playday...It would be great for them to have some friends there, keeping in mind that the school doesn't start til the 27 of september. My DD will be in year 1 and my DS in year 3.

Luchy, I live in that area in a nice compound called Al Nasireya2, and I think there is a couple of other compounds around us that seem to be nice too. My two children are the same ages as yours and they will be attending Sherborne too.

Thankyou all for your answers...I think the school is somewhere called West Nasiriyah, does any one know where this is??? is it nice area?? are they any nice compounds close by??? It would be great to know more about the area or hear opinions from people living there.

Check out the classified section..you will find many villas and apartments....considering the traffic situation..its better to live near to your work place or near to the school.
