hi friends,
i am also on visit visa right now and having international driving licence but i spend here more than six months so can i use the intenational driving licence now i am selected in givernment job but it will atleast take more than one month for my qatari id .so what do u people suggest.
Omani driving license is accepted for 2 weeks for visitor, if he is planning to stay more than 2weeks he must obtain a temporary driving license at a cost of QR 250 and eye test is required QR30.
IN VISIT NO NEED TO CHANGE DRIVING LICENSE, HE CAN USE OMAN LICENSE,
IF HIS VISIT VISA IS BUSINESS TYPE, HE CAN CONVERT IT TO TEMP DRIVING LICENSE
IF ITS TOUR VISIT, ITS DIFFICULT
he cannot convert it .. but he can ask for a driving permit good for two weeks...
