How cruel can parents get?
A seven-year-old girl was starved to death by her mother so severely that her state of emaciation was unheard of by British medical experts, a court has heard.When Khyra Ishaq was found by paramedics resembling the victim of an African famine.
She had been denied food for five months and kept shut away from the world, a jury was told.

As I said earlier, I can't believe that a woman would stand by and let this happen to her own child..
Women can indeed be cruel. But men are more cruel. Look at the statistics.

Pm went through ur link ... sounded somewhat similar to the movie Provoked .. though the MIL had no hand in that ... hmmm how could a MIL do like this to a girl who left her family and joined them for their happiness ....
I think before she meets 'her maker' she may need a dose of her own medicine.

You are right our world is one flucked up community. I agree about the death sentence too but only after the 'mother' has been starved and beaten for quite a long time.

really pathetic ... how ever a mother could this to her own kids .... just cant believe it

I cannot belive that humans would do this to a child or that a mother would allow this to happen to her offspring.
It seems that little Khyra and the other children were all kept deliberately short of food, beaten with a cane and abused for no real reason.
I hope they both get life, but I am sure the PC brigade will jump in with excuses like mental instability or stress or something similar.
