You can get dmc thread in New World Centre. Also available in Fredoni, including Aida.
Very good for framing is Gulf Colours under Sofitel (Mecure Hotel now) in the souq.
Kits aren't very good here. Order online.
You can get cross-stitch kits from Doha World Center, on the ground floor, as well as DMC threads. You can also get kits from Jarir Book Store, I think.
As for frames, I have seen a place between Doha City and Dana Hotel,near the Souq area. There is also a place in Najma, between Furniture souq and Dasman Centre.
In Lulu hyper you can find these cross sticth kits but Iam not sure of the brand. I am also looking for a place frame photos
