What to do if you have been not renewed because of restructuring the organization? and you have completed your two years but they are not giving you NOC?

By the way...

there are rumors that effective 10/09 the whole NOC-story will be ancient history.

Anybody knows more about this?

Fight for it.... NOC here is like a holy grail.

Do not talk to your HR - person, go as high as possible.

I have actually seen somebody being blackmailed, he could choose: NOC or Indemnity... so they tried to safe QR 50.000 on the poor bugger.

If nothing has worked, take the money and go to Labor.

The best thing: get a new job with a very reputed company and try to have the companies CEO/Chairman/MD put in a phone call for you from Owner to Owner.

If you do not shoot, you will ALWAYS miss.

Fight for it.

FS, may be these people who you are talking about, do not need a NOC? you are not sure what visa they were here before. Maybe it was a tourist visa or a Business visa. Then no need for the NOC letter.

I know of employers who will never give NOC, no matter what... It's just an unwritten policy.

if you complete your two years and will not re-hire you, they will not give you NOC. unless company is closing down even if you havent finished your 2 years, you can work it out to get NOC. i suggest you get a new job, get offer letter and they might give you NOC. similar to what happened to some of my colleagues in the company.

Lately this is happening in most of the places...then again as blue said completing 2 years has nothing to do with getting NOC from the employer.

Some of my friends working with me we told 1 month before they finished their contract that their RP will not be renewed if they find a new job before the contract was over they were given release.

Aana free, jaana free,

Pakde gaye tho khana free.

or for an NOC. Don't demand it, it's a privileged, not a right! What's your position in the company, if I may asked?

"completed two years" does not force your sponsor to give NOC. They give it if they want to.
