I spoke to a recrutier for Rasgas trying to get someone to review my CV but she wasn't that nice and I'm not for sure if she is really going to help me out...any advice
Are you actually applying for a specific vacancy at RasGas?
Companies don't just hire good people because they are good. They hire them to do a job, and if there is no need for someone to do a specific job, they will never hire you, no matter how good you are.
Don't waste all that money flying to Qatar and then not visit other employers, that would be foolish.
Clearly RasGas has no interest, so stop wasting time and look elsewhere.
Being an American you chances are more with companies like...ExxonMobil, Conoco, Occidental, shell etc... why don’t you try applying in those companies..
they mostly sponsor only overseas candidates... if you hired locally you loose some benefits..
I have traveled all the way from the U.S.A. to Doha, Qatar to compete specifically for a position with Rasgas. Why Rasgas? Because I feel they are an up and coming company that has the potential to keep setting new standards in the oil and gas industry in Qatar, as I am an up and coming professional with the potential to be a positive contributor to that success. Not only am I pursuing this position with Rasgas passionately, but I also pursue all of my professional tasks and goals with the same vigor. This makes me stands out just like Rasgas stands out. This makes me the perfect fit for their organization.
I don't think many companies just review CVs because they are submitted.
They review applications for jobs that are currently vacant.
If they don't have a job opening for you, they aren't going to waste their time reviewing your CV since there is no practical purpose.
Try looking at a different company.
Also - if you do get hired here as a woman, chances are it will be as what is called a 'local hire', which means that your employer won't sponsor you. They will expect that you will be sponsored by your husband.
If my husband sponsors me after 30 days he will have to provide his own housing which can be expensive here but if a good company picks me up they may provide housing for married status and they can sponsor me..
I'm currently here in Doha, visiting from the states and my husband already has a job here but I've been here almost a month searching for a job and I only have 30 more days left. I have a BA in Management with 5 years work experience and my career standpoint is Mid-Career. Please help if you know companies that are hiring...I hate to settle and I prefer to work for Rasgas but...

Have you tied monstergulf.com? An employment agency may be what you need now. Good Luck!
You can't force them to review your CV. Just move-on to another company.

Not many companies will sponsor women like that.
Why only RG? There are so many other good firms.
