Yes, i had visited the showroom in salwa road, i saw the new Sequoia, with the amazing price 215K QR for the full options, compared to ARMADA 171K QR for sure ARMADA which has good reputation and already tested for years in here is the right choice.

i was at the showroom ready to buy a rav4 in 2007, but the mighty salesmen seems not so interested with asian skin client as he keeps on ignorong our queries. So i went to Honda and got a CRV (and after sales service is amazing) alhamdula'alah. I'll never visit that Toyota showroom again!

Toyota is famous for its lousy service....at least here...

Minor repairs take almost a month....at their workshop....unless you grease their fingers with "tips".

BTW, Master Mas, How snotty were the sales staff at Al Sadd? The Lebanese guy in Salwa road refused to sell me a new Patrol! D!ckhead!!

How were you planning to buy a car over the phone anyway? You still need to go to the showroom at some point so why not just go there from the get go?

I'd guess the reason they don't answer the phone is cos they are too busy with customers in the showroom!!!!

my experience with Nissan is pretty good i say..

every service is like 2 or 3 hours max, that if you have an appointment.. if not. then u wait in Queue. takes what it takes..

they always pick up the phone. they do transfer u a lot but they always pick up..

..

i bought an Altima & won a Sony Bravia 37". lol.

..

did u know that there's huge price difference between Al-Sadd showroom and Salwa Road showroom.. Sadd Showroom is cheaper.. ??????

..

whateve, after all u want the car, not the service..

from my experience and test drives of so many cars.. i recommend Toyota Aurion for a sedan and Toyota Prado for a 4WD..

I disagreed! Toyota the finest car? Oh no! Maybe before Toyota was wholly owned by Japanese who are the maker of this brand, but after American joined, these toyota become more famous but to tell you, i doubt if there are no other people like me who really had a nightmare of repairs to be done for a newly bought one. And when you bring it to Toyota service, they will charge you of whatever they think they wanted to charge you and they know well what are those "these and that" to be change, to be adjusted, to be cleaned, to be etc etc, eventhough behind it, they didn't even gave a damn to see the car, especially if you are a lady like me who they think they can fool that i don't know anything about cars anyway.... they charge you for check up, for telling or asking them why there is sound or the gear is wiggling, or why is there something leaking....While compare to Korean made i have, like Britex, Kia, but not pink, had neve gave me any headache, (i am not of anything connected to Kia, so i am not promoting) i am just telling what i experienced with cars, less expensive, just regular maintenace and really good, Kia had with me for five years now but never hanged me in the road, while, the Huge, strong looking Land cruiser of mine which is just 2 years old, with regular checkup and maintenance, had put me in trouble many times....maintenace and service is so costly...

There are better vehicles than LC right now in the market....

But the obsession for Cruiser is something the localities cant get over...don know why.....

ya ashwin i have lived there and know ppl are kind of crazy about Land Cruisers, but this one (Sequoia) is way powerful than LC...where LC is 4.5 Ltrs engine, Sequoia is 5.7 Ltrs!

But that doesn't qualify them to arrogant. it's the problem with local dealership in Doha.

Siddh - lol... good for you...

But... Toyota DOn need to be humble here....

The Land Cruisers sales more than Nike sells there shoes here......

This must be sounding like exaggeration but stay here for a while n you ll say why wasn't far from the truth.... :)

you jsut wait tell u go to the show room and see the mighty sales men who give u only 2 options TAKE it or LEAVE it ..it is TOYOTA ..........

Toyota...lost brand???? we understand you are frustrated at the irresponsible way of handling but Toyota doesn't have control on all the dealers......it's wierd though.

But buddy, Toyota makes the finest cars (in my opinion) and Sequoia is a powerhouse with 5.7L engine sitting inside it. Maybe it's new in gulf, but have been in North America for long and is actually a version of their pick-up truck Tundra.

One more advise before you really quit on Toyota makes.....once you own a Toyota you hardly need any after sales service. Infact the place where I stay has a lousy Toyota dealer too, but I never need to vist them.....that's TOYOTA!!!

Well, I think you are new to Qatar or you wouldn't have posted this article.

Its always a good option to visit them personally rather than calling them or try calling Ranjith at 5531176/4115214. He is a very nice gentelman working in Sales department at Toyota City Center Branch.

All the best.
