just got a ring and a bracelet like "Malrat" showed above on my wedding anniversary.well love shoes, clothes and hand bags as much.hard to say what I love the most.
My husband just gave me a set of diamond jewelries last month as an anniversary gift. And like mitz im not really fond of jewelries in fact most my jewelries are all gifts!
jewelry is not my first love too, but it is a part of my life, i don't feel comfortable going out without a ring. my mom is so fond of jewelry, so 90% of my jewelry are handed down from her.
im not fond also of jewellery,i prefer buying bags & shoes plus . i wish i could one good watch like Harry winston i guess that the most expensive watch i ever seen.
I'm not so into jewelries. On a normal day, I just wear a pair of earrings and my diamond ring. That's it. But I've started to buy some for my daughters. I prefer the simple, elegant designs.
my husband always give me a set of jewellry on our anniversary aside from the set of jewellries i have bought, so i always tell my sons to really choose the girl they will marry because whoever she is, she is so damned lucky.
but i prefer my simple set of diamond stud on white gold setting very classy.
I am not much for the hugemongous designs here. Jewelery should be kept elegant. I would much rather have one of those Cartier Love bracelets than a whole box full of the stuff you find in a majority of the souqs here.
maybe for some makes them valuable as what on the pricetag they wear and on jewels are the most of how they gonna express it then.
so if jewelries are synonymous to women, it's the most pricey that are either kept for normal guys eyes only or yet to be discovered and if one does discovered such, it's as good as hitting a jackpot.
well it's not just the stone that makes it worth, its the value the people put in it, so if women is such a stone it's how we value them that makes them worth buying for.
so why women loves jewelries, i think they just tend to be worthy just like it.
we get lots of gold and some diamonds jewelry for our wedding... haven’t worn them even once after marriage...on wedding day its like weight lifting! all those heavy ones never used again...its all in the bank locker...what a waste of money!!
all are kept back home. Pearls are common in my country, APPLE can attest to that (we came from the same region in the Philippines).
Mostly than not, I was brought up that jewelries are worn on special occassions ---though it's my Mother who's wearing them (my pearl sets) while I'm here in the sandpit...lol
You're lucky you receive them jewelries as gifts, for me...I'm the one who buys for my family...hehehe
I'm not interested in diamond or pearl, I think they're very conventional and typical for a girl to wear, I never bought any for myself, I only accept them as gifts, and why not?....lol
I remember Cleopatra, femme fatale who has been immortalized on the silver screen many times, but the most memorable portrayal was that by Hollywood legend, Elizabeth Taylor, where she swathed in draped gowns and accessorized in gold and precious gems. Grace Kelly, the modern Cinderella, with her pearl jewels. Marie Antoinette who has inspired the jewelry designs of Chanel, Lanero, Bulgari, and Cartier.
Oh, well, jewelry can represent a woman with unabashed sensuality and luxury.
We like accessorizing, nice dress, shoes and purse will need a nicer elegant necklace, earrings, two finger rings and a bracelet to match, so not high maintenance at all...lol
You should be thankful I haven't burdened you with a tiara and anklets too..:P
my wife prefers to save money to buy a nice house. She can not keep a jewelry more than a year before losing it...So no more jewelry gifts to buy for a long time.

I love antique engagement rings because my engagement ring is an antique one and I'll never part with it for my lifetime.
thats the reason i leave certain comments incomplete.
The biological reason, metals like Gold help women to keep their body and head cool plus enhance her beauty!......no source to support!
I have never received as a gift any diamod jewelries. Can anyone help me to pass this frustration??? At least a 2 to 4 kt ring...pleeeeeaaaase!!!!!
jewelry is not my first love too, but it is a part of my life, i don't feel comfortable going out without a ring. my mom is so fond of jewelry, so 90% of my jewelry are handed down from her.

Everything happens for a
reason.
no , not in my case. for me shoes and handbags comes first than rings and watches. but still so many things matter more than these ones.
I love jewelries, i feel im naked without wearing even a single ring on my finger...but surely i can live without it....
my husband always give me a set of jewellry on our anniversary aside from the set of jewellries i have bought, so i always tell my sons to really choose the girl they will marry because whoever she is, she is so damned lucky.
