yeah there s apossibility for a mass transportation system in the future here... like the tube stations. But, that may be available only for 'FAMILIES' for atleast an year.. lolz... may get one coach at the end exclusive for bachelors.. :-p

The train has already been considered and approved. The route has been determined and it is under design. The train will go from New Doha International Airport (NDIA) to Sheraton (City Center Area) to Lusail and Pearl. The route and stations have already been decided. Another branch will go to Bahrain via the new causeway. Future plans include lines to Ras Laffan via Al Khor and Messieed.

Why train is not "available" in DOHA?

Dont worry, trains will be "available" in Doha soon.

Check Lulu hypermarket or Carrefour for "availibility"!

Because there are no railroad tracks? Because they haven't been seen as a feasible alternative to mass transit? Because there have been other cost effective solutions to transport up until recently? Do you have any idea of the cost of rail infrastructure? They can't even get the bus system working effectively enough to get cars off the street.
