Equality under the law!

Under pretext of the world-wide crisis, a large retail company put at the door a great number of its Muslims employees.

Several cases of dismissal took place within this large retail company in Doha but it was noted that the dismissals touched only Muslims executives and for abstract reasons or even without reason.

It has been proven, that these same employees had claimed several times, to both the District manager and the CEO, the discrimination of which they were victims but in vain.

Finally, and thanks to the facebook, they decided to publish their cause while waiting for the reaction of the president of the group.

The reaction was not long in being heard but unfortunately in the form of dismissal and of threats!
These employees keep hope in God and in the labor law which prohibits any form of discrimination.

But does everybody think it is right to post company photos with some text with the names of the people, saying that they are all thieves?

Same here khalid, my friend's husband left carrefour along with some other colleagues (muslim and non muslim)

They have been asked to resigne but did not get fired.

It seems that a lot of companies in doha are doing this.

However, I don't think that an employer will ask his employee to resign if he did a bad job or asked for a bribe...he will just fire him without notice.

I think it's just their way to take the costs down.

I'm editing the OP:

A large retail company in Doha had to put at the door a number of its employees.

It seems that these same employees had claimed to both the District manager and the CEO, that there is some sort of discrimination of which they claim they were victims.

Then they decided to publish some company photos with unproven allegations on facebook while waiting for the reaction of the president of the group.

The reaction was not long in being heard, the administration decided not to take them to court, and restrict it to their dismissal.

This is bullshit, the link on facebook would be considered defamation... it even includes the people's names (I'm not copying them here)!!!!!

A bunch of corporate photos with sick unrelated remarks:

the GM of Carrefour Doha negociating with a supplier (his %!)

the GM of Carrefour Doha celebrating the creation of his company thanks to carrefour suppliers!

Good exemple if you wanna success in Carrefour Doha

(NAME) making Shisha for carrefour GM and suppliers! The best exemple to become a DH in less than 2 years! even with very bad results!

Whoever did this should feel lucky that dismissal is all they got.
