I am new to Qatar and I just rented a flat on 2 yrs contract and gave 24 post dated cheques to the owner.

I read on ql that I should register the contract with some government body. May I know where?

Also came to know that post dated cheques can be encashed any time. Is it really correct then what is so called 'post dated cheques'? I am really confused.

Please advice.

i am not sure about the contract. but i am certain that the post dated check can only be cash-out on the date that you put on it. unless you left the date blank then your in trouble.
