We too have applied for a maid with an agency (Al-Ward) I think it is important to shop around though look at many agency's before giving your money away!

They promised a maid to arrive in one month, after doing several follow up calls to them for an up-date on her arrival, they finally called us after the 31 days and told us she can't come. "No problem" they say, "just come in and pick out another one". (wait 1 more month)

We had a hard time picking out the first one, most of the girls looked like serial-Killers or zombies.

Whattodo??.... Hope they have new applicants to chose from. Order again from the same company and hope they follow through this time? Regardless, In the meantime we have no help for at least two or more months, which makes for a lot of work in one day for two full-time working parents.

So, good luck finding a good agency and if you do, could you please list it in QL.We alsofound that it is hard to find the agency's listed in Qatar Directory we moreless had to drive around and look for them.

1. You need to get a Maid VISA approval from immigration, for which you will have to submit some doccuments.

Once you get the VISA approval then you get the maid.

2.The easiest way is to go through some agency, there ssome good agencies doing this.

3. I am in midst of getting my maid, all procedures are completed.Just waiting for her arrival.

Please let me know if you need any more help.

Regards
