Dear Mates,
Hello everyone..I would need advise on the job offer I got from QatarGas as a safety inspector in Ras Laffan. They offered 8000 USD, i will pay for accommodations. I will rent a flat, and service to working area myself.
How much money does it cost to live in there, where i can rent a flat and how much it will cost? and for services, i have to rent a car but i dont have driving licence. i have to find one driver or i shall find some other way for transportation. what you suggest for that all, and what you suggest me to accept or not this offer.
for now i m working in Kazakhstan as a QA/QC engineer, safety topic will be new interest for.
Thank you very much for all your advices

if you are offered an all inclusive salary package... doesn't necessarily mean that you'll have to provide everything for you....

in most cases... there are already existing company flats or villa accomodations and existing company transport for employees level to your position.... while they will accomodate you to such company accomodation together with your fellow employees, likewise you will hitch with the company transport from your home to your designated area of duty... only a tantamount fraction will be duct from your whole package salary...

while in the future... if you tend to separate from the company accomodation and find your own... you may do so at your sole option... also to acquire your own transport and drive yourself or hire a permanent service transport whichever is convenient for you...

in addition, for a single bachelor, cost of living allowances including food and other consumables wont get you expend more than 30%-40% of what you are earning... the rest..... to the piggy bank...:D

nirvana 1 USD is 3.65 to the riyal or there about. Just about less than 32000.

You will need to drive for your transportation.

People live in DOHA and work in RL. They drive every day more than one hour in one way. Possible to organise for short term but not possible for long term.

Rent price are increasing and buying a car also not so easy. Think many time before you made your decision. Ask you company they can provide for you if YES what is the pay to your pocket. That is all I can say
