5000 QR is it enough?

I just wanna know if a 5000 QR salary is enough to have a comfortable life in Qatar, knowing that housing, transport and medical care are provided by the compagny?

if your mindset is to save money...i think it's enough.

cuz almost everything is provided by your employer..except your food.

GOOD LUCK!

Not enough! I have same problem also got 2 kids with me. So I have to do a 2nd or 3rd Job just to sustain. Think again with 5,000 QAR but in the end it all depends on you....

On a brighter side just think of the construction workers they earn 800 QAR a month and they are still alive! :)

If your lifestyle is moderate & you are single too then it’s very good for you but if it's not the case then it will be very HARD for you to meet both ends.

.

Moreover, you cannot bring your family in Qatar unless one has salary more than 7000 riyals.

.

So be patient & think sensibly before accepting such offer if you are MARRIED & want to bring family in Qatar later on.

I don't know tunisian currency rates but let me clarify you that cost of leaving is very high here.

To get the better and clear answer provide below info:

1. Your job title and job type

2. Company name or Company type

3. Are u married & having kids?

4. How much u r earning at home?

5. How much money you want to save out of 5000?

if the company will shoulder your accommodation and transportation and you're single.. then i think it is enough for a living.. but i tell you.. you cannot save from this amount.

This is an open question. It would be totally depend on your life and lifestyle. For some people this would be alright, if you are single especially. For some, this would be not even enough for half a month. If you married and have children under you and schooling, this is not enough at all.

entirely depends on ur spending habits....in addition, i would suggest, if you are single..it is ok...but if u r married,, u can live a life but not very comfortable..!!

well, if you have kids you should also consider if the company will give them education assistance.

it depends upon urself.. r u married or single.. how much do u need for ur daily/weekly expenses.. will you get car or u have to arrange... lots more.. if u r single and no extra expenses at all..then u can save max 3.5-4k...

Depend of the following:

- are you with family?

- are you smoking?

- do you like beer, or wine or whisky etc?

- do you like to go to restaurant once per week?

- do you like to go to beach or swimming pool once per week?

If you have answerd yes to a minimum of 4 questions is better to ask for better allowances.

Ciao
