is 17,000 QAR monthly package acceptable in Qatar?

im not in qatar, but based on my research. that is a fair deal. assuming they will give you that full amount. the problem would be if they provide you an accomodation when you arrive and slash the $$$.

which company is this? even engineer,s not getting this much of salary? first of all u read before signing the salary agreement.

But how come your HRA is so high than Basic? And what if, your management gives you accomodation instead of allowance.

Better, you may ask your manegment split your HRA like 5,000 for HRA and 3,000 as other allowance like children education allowance.

what about if they move you to company housing or forced to move due to work assignments...

some companies are clever because allowances are not included in computation of overtime if ever, and indemnities.

still depends on your decision, at this moment in time 17000QR is a price catch.
