Hi, my child has been told she needs gromits in her ears and her adenoids out too. Can anyone recommend a good doc? We are seeing Professor Dr Ahmed Handoussa at Al Alhi at the mo and he seems good but I would really like some advice from a parent who has been thro the procedure over here in Doha.

Thank you.

I had an s-shaped deviated septum and underwent a surgery at Magrabi Medical Center (my 1st time). Prof. Dr Ahmed Handoussa performed the surgery. Before this surgery I had to use Otrivin nasal spray 6-7 times a day. I had a chronic case of blockage. I had these drops kept in my car, office, in ever room of my house and in my pocket at all times. I have completed 2 months after the surgery and I don't need to use the drops at all. I can breath freely.

My views. Prof. Dr Ahmed Handoussa is amazing. I highly recommend him for his perfection with the surgery, the after care and regular followups. I highly recommend Magrabi Medical Center too.

Yeah but I heard Magrabi Medical Center can't afford proper marketing and spam public forms instead annoying everyone.

My daughter had the gromits put in her ears and adenoids out. Doctor Handoussa and the nurses at Al Ahli Hospital were fantastic and so kind to my daughter and us and the level of care was extremely high. The hospital was spotless. The level of care was very personal and professional and I would have no hesitation to recommend the services to other parents.

No Please don't go Dr. Osama, I was just at his office with my son last thursday, only to get his opinion if my son needs to have his adenoids removed as suggested by an ENT back home, and seeing him was one fo the worst expereince I went through ...you can read how we were treated in my previous post below...

In my mind Dr Osama Bakhri is the best. His clinic is just off Midmac roundabout. (Maybe his lastname is miss spelled - sorry)But he is good and has been here many many years.

Hi, my daughter has seen Dr Handoussa too. She had gromits before we got here, but they were clogged up and Dr Handoussa removed one of them and managed to get the other cleared. I would be nervous having any procedure done anywhere but my home country, but if I had to do it here, I would be sure that Dr Handoussa was the one doing the procedure. In fact if my daughter has any more problems, he said we would have to have it done to her as well. I know that doesn't help you much, but I think he is a good doctor.
