Allora,

Ciao...

I know the name does not sound nor look that Italian after all... Ma romano (E da'a' Magica) ar 101%... Mi mancano giusto le 7 generazioni ma vabe...

I this spaghetto really worth it or better to stay home and cook myself?

Any social funky spahetti style gatherings on the agenda soon?

Alla prox!

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity!

just go to one of far-away beaches on friday morning to sit with a book in privacy, and you will find at least a hundred of italians parking their cars on top of yours so you can't get in, when the rest of the beach is empty.

Not from Genova...that is just my last name!! Well, lets just put it this way: there are two types of italians. The italians of the north, which appreciated the coldness and the luxury, and the italians of the south which care more about family, friends and good food.

Where am I from? ;-)

I met some italians and am looking for more. The problem is that most of the people here are married guys living in the petroluem industry with housewives enjoying the rich life...not my type.

Lets see how it goes!

Dear nadi(a) of geno(va), Italians just do not like to write in English in this forum. Once it was possible to write in every language, but now English has been enforced: who can control the content of posts written in other langauges (and you know how sensitive is this issue in Qatar) ?

According to the Italian Embassy, there are about 800 Italian nationals living in Doha. I believe they are now 1000 (Doha is growing) and I bet a good part of them has eaten at least once at "Lo Spaghetto".

No sign of any web-based networking group yet.

It would be good at least to know which are their fav neighborhoods in Doha... I've always found Doha very pedestrian UN-friendly, kind of distant from the typical notion of an Italian town.
