If a person's visitor visa that has already been extended to six months is about to expire, do they HAVE to go back to country of origin before applying for a new visitor visa? I have been given various bits of information, each contadicting the other.

visit visa is for visiter here it loolk like that you want to usew for employment, not allowed.after comleting your visit you have to go to your country and after fixed period you can apply again.if you need to stay in qatar try to use other visa ,business or tourist or employment visa.dont try to cheat this country.

I have the same problem too. But i'm still confused about the 3 months gap.

Some people say that i can apply for new visit visa even just after departure. It depends on the captain if he will sign.

Can you please clarify.

Thanks.

After completing 6 months stay in qatar, if u wanna stay more, u need to go immigration (madina khalifa) and meet one of the captain who is sitting in the 1 st floor.

Give him the genuine reason why u wanna extend ur visa.

if he satisfy with ur reason he may give u extension of 1 / 2 months.

best of luck.

NO.He is talking about visit visa not tourist visa.

Person need to wait three months outside of Qatar before you can apply for second visit visa. There is no issua of country of origin. You just have to leave Qatar and stay out for three months thats all.
