Please suggest some good beauty parlours where i can get a very good, trendy hair cut.

Why risk it here? Get a haircut in your home country when you go back for a visit!

My wife is very fussy about these things and she goes to the Marie Claire Salon on Salwa Road after the fly-over. It is run by a French lady but relatively expensive (QR500 for colouring and cutting). Check it out but make sure to get her to do your treatment...the other girls are apparently no good.
