May i know, in qatar who is the best orthopedic doctor available for doing arthroscopic surgery for knees.
I'm 26years old & is an employee who is interested in sports activities. Frankly speaking i'm not representing any clubs or something like that. Just i'll play cricket for happiness.
I'm usually quick fielder, medium pace bowler & a middle order batsman. from past two years or so, i'm feeling pain inside my knee & few times i feel like the knee joint is burning. Atlast in my last visit to home town & in MRI it is found that there is some cartilate damage in my knees. But more i feel the pain in my left knee.
When i shown that to a local doctor, he is advising for a surgery. Is a surgery compulsory thing for the treatment of cartilage & though arthroscopic surgery will be done, can i play my usual cricket & continue with my running activites. How long it may take to heal for continuing with my normal duties?
All advices are welcome
I agree with khalifaboy.
I think Dr Arun used to work or consult for Hamad hospital like 4-5 years ago. Because I was getting opinions from every ortho. I could find . And when I was in Qatar a HMC acquaintance had suggested this Dr. to me. Said he was real good.
Try this doctor in Al Khor Hospital, Dr. Arun. He is a very good orthopedic surgeon.
Would not say Aspetar is the best for orthopedics a friend or ours just lost the use of his arm to a Dr. who made a mistake. I would go to Dubai much better physcians and aftercare.
You should really consult a sports medicine doctor.
I've ligament tears on both my knees. Was advised by doctors in India and the USA, no running for life.
Consult at least 3-4 doctors before going in for surgery. Try consulting some doctors at the Apollo hospital.
Your best orthopedic surgeons would be at Aspetar.
