Is buying a car that has accident repairs a big issue?
By nzsouthernman •
I am about to buy an SUV that has been in an accident and repaired, well. I have had it tested by German Auto Center, it is only 6 months old. There is no chassis damage, and the repairs are of good quality.
The price is reduced accordingly, the dealer is not trying to hide anything. I won't be buying the car unless the insurance company is able to supply comprehensive insurance.
Am I facing any other nasty issues? Does it mean the car will be impossible to sell in the future? As mentioned, the price is right and it is the model I want......
I would appreciate your comments.

why do you ask!!!!
you love the car then buy it & forget about anything else & don`t ask others, trust yourself a few
Yes!its a bad idea!trust me..i have experienced this kinda dilemma before..Any car no matter how many ever times crashed can be repaired in such a way tht it looks brand new..anyways the car has crashed once so it got affected...u mite buy it now due to low price..but in future u cannot sell it becoz firstly it has been crashed nd secondly it has been used..so hardly any profitable deal u can make...u CAN SELL IT ..but profit wont be satisfying..and crashed cars sometimes do show a little bit of problems while using..in rare cases tht is..U shud try for another car...
Cheers!=)
I have only one thing to tell you: STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEAL or U'LL REGRET LATER.
If the engine and the chassis are intact.. there's no problem
umm...i think its not a big issue if the accident was only a minor one? like u said its only 6 months old...
in future also u hav 2 reduce the price accordingly to sell it...because the buyer vil nt take the car without inspection...
do think abt it once again before buying...
