Probably the gravy is Halal.. that's why they dont include it in the meals here in Qatar.

there's another fried chicken company here that serves gravy (or something like that of equal taste, LOL) but i forgot which one. most likely its Southern Fried, but im not sure. ;)

Once she asked who is that grandpa in the pic on the sign board , why we never see him in the shop. he said, baby , that grandpa ate KFC always and died. Thats it, she is an anti KFC now.lol

There are much serious reasons not to eat this crap.

Lots of Ghee is used to deep fry it, which can screw the heart Big Time. Once it gets cold , just slip away the coating and the skin together, you can see thick layer of fat accumulated in yellow colour..yuk.. it can kill you. NOT AT ALL HEALTHY.

If cruelty to animals is a basis for not eating KFC, then there are quite a few stuff that one will have to do without. have seen videos of beef slaughter in those factories, believe me its as much or even worse.

The animal comes hanging upside down in a conveyor, the man slits its throat, puts his hand inside and pulls its windpipe out and then the machine drops the animal in a tray. It flounders, thrashes around and gets up with blood spraying everywhere. Not a pretty sight.

Just look at it - the chicken is obviously so bad they have to coat it in a 'special secret blend of spices' or whatever it is.

Served in a bucket? Come on! I like my food on a plate!

And as to the grease! I used to bowl (ten pin) three times a week. My mates were throwing the ball everywhere with their greasy fingers - not me - I got good!

ehm, you never ate it? how do you know then?

I like it when i am totally hammered and can't coordinate anything else than a "gee us a chicken love".

i like it then, not the next morning

KFC is shite. Never ate it, never will.

By anonymous• 6 Apr 2009 06:02

Isn’t it too much to ask that the chicken die quickly and painlessly? After we reap the benefits of their meat that is how they repay the poor animals? Makes me sick.

bad news... their greed for money has so much taken over their respect for animals.

By anonymous• 6 Apr 2009 04:21

but i have never seen dog in my KFC, an never think of having a crummed cow leg.

It would be illegal for KFC to abuse dogs, cats, pigs, or cows in these ways. so do they treat them better ?????

By zayd• 6 Apr 2009 00:39

huh...so that stuff they serve really is chicken?

to see is to believe adage can be deduced here but if it is true, KFC should have taken steps to minimize if not totally remove this kind of practice.

If you're trying to imply that there should be a campaign against KFC, it is is no different to any other fast food chain. Its all about cutting corners and its all about the profit.

Oh and KFC is actually quite yummy - especially the combination with coleslaw. There is the risk though of having a tough time in the toilet the following morning though :S

Oh and plus the world's largest KFC bucket (the heaviest bucket full of kfc chicken) was in our very own Kfc branch in villagio. I saw a poster somewhere in CC I think. Makes you proud.
