Where to stay short term in Doha?

Coming to Doha for a week or maybe two to look for a job and attend several interviews, I found out that there was an alternative to expensive hotels.

I needed my own clean room with Wifi to search and satellite TV to unwind. There was even a small pool! A large kitchen and my own fridge meant I could keep expenses down and cook for myself. The room was cleaned twice a week. Quick to town and loads of restaurants nearby. All in all a very pleasant experience. QR 2,500 per week for a huge ensuite. And I got the job!
