The Qatar Living Sports Forum

Some people may say that ‘sport makes the world go around’. Guess what? They just might be right. Qatar certainly believes so. How else can one explain their fascination for hosting big sporting events in the country? The Doha Asian Games, the Tennis tournaments, the FINA Diving Series, the Qatar Athletics Grand prix… the list goes on.

There are also smaller events and groups which almost go unnoticed. The local cycling competition, the soccer evolution academy where your child can learn the beautiful game, the swimming competitions that happen regularly, the local handball-basketball-volleyball-football-bowling competitions… The list, again, is never-ending.
Qatar Living now has a dedicated sports section among its wide-ranging forum topics. You can post about sports activities in it (unlike earlier where socialising was the closest category it could be posted in). It could be about Wayne Rooney in the EPL or about how your child fared in the local tae-kwon-do competition. Anything and everything about sports is welcome in this forum.
One complaint which expatriates have always raised is that they’re unaware of sports activities happening in Doha. Let Qatar Living point you in the right direction. Post about any sports-related news you have in Qatar Living – the country’s largest online community. Let everyone benefit from the common initiative.
At least now, one can safely say that if they hadn’t heard about it, then they hadn’t read about it in Qatar Living.

Happy posting. See you soon as one among the legions of screaming fans…

Here you can read about the Battery operated race cars.
