I am bringing my Lhasa Apso to Qatar, should I use the Qatar Pet Relocators or is it easy enough to do?

We used Qatar Pet Relocators (528-6335) to process the paperwork to bring our dog over from the US in December and it was worth the cost. They took care of all the paperwork on this side and were very helpful in telling me what I needed to do onthe other side to make sure Ihad all the required documentation.

By the way the easiest and cheapest way to bring over a pet (assuming your airline allows it) is as accompanied baggage on your flight. The transport cost to bring our dog on the Qatar Air flight from NY was only $150. Air freight would have cost far more.

Using a relocator takes all the stress away from you and ensures you have all the right paperwork needed from both ends. You didn't mention where you're coming from or whether your dog's coming cargo or accompanied baggage. Both of these can make things much easier or much harder!!

It's pretty easy to do it yourself, and you'll save a lot of money also. We shipped two dachshunds with us to Qatar and it wasn't that hard.

If you can afford it,

then use it! There is so much work to do to move overseas. Save yourself as many hassles as possible.

It's possible but it can be a little tricky. I'd use the relocator to make sure that all the i's were dotted and the t's crossed. You don't want to put yourself and your little one under any stress at such a time.
