Yes, I am not in Qatar, is this website only for people in Qatar? one of my friend told me this website. Maybe we will have an office in Qatar several years later, hoping i can be there to meet you all.

We don't sell construction materials, but can't tell you what we're selling here, or it will be AD i think, but at least you're wrong.

another thing connie, if you are printing the letter and give hard copies to clients, be careful of the font style and the size. the normal size should be 12 and the font should be official looking like verdanna. be careful with the spaces also. review before printing. check punctuation marks, spellings and typo errors.

So it is sales letter you are trying to sell them your product.. This is called marketing..

First rule of marketing is to know your target. If you dont know your target audience then you will get your message across. So try to do some research about who your intended target is..

Dear Sir or Madam is ok. But if you can get to know his name, that would be better. Also, be very careful about the spelling of his/her name. It shows you've exerted effort to know the details.

True, first impression lasts, and it applies on the appearance of the letter. Remember that it is not you writing the letter, it is the company. Whatever comes from your company, is from your Company.

GodFather.

Being funny aside..

You have to create a good impression of your self in your first letter, as they say first impression may be the last.

So depending if it is business letter or if you are asking, thats what letters are all about because you want something.

So address them as Dear Sir or Madam etc..

By qatarisun• 4 Mar 2009 11:04

then it would be either

Dear Sir or Madam

or
