Let us start volleyball rolling!

Hey everyone, I'm new to Qatar Living. I was browsing at the topics posted at the forum and was amazed at the huge interest of members here in volleyball.

My name is Joey. I'm the incumbent Chairman of Filipino Volleyball Association Qatar (FILVAQ), a nonprofit volleyball group recognized by Qatar volleyball federation. It has organized successful indoor volleyball competitions for 3 yrs from 2004 to 2006. and became part of the 2006 Doha Asian Games Beach Volleyball. FILVAQ has always been approached by American School Doha, Qatar Academy and Intercontinental Hotel for refereeing in their volleyball programs.

The group has not had either competitive or friendly games since 2007 due to unavailability of venues. Most of the sports clubs are either fully booked on weekends or are very expensive.

Now, if someone can help get a venue (say playing courts of hotel accommodations, schools, embassies, etc), where we can play, at least friendly games, during the weekends, pls let me know ASAP.
