Kids sitting in the front seat of the car

Can anybody have Idea about the penalty If we place our kids[below 5 years] in the front seat with seatbelt or in the lap of the passenger in the front seat?

Our kid is 2 years old and he is just adamant always to sit in the Front seat.

You yourself knows the hardest penalty of your wrong actions and decision... placing your 2 year old baby in the passenger seat made me crazy!!! people here in doha are driving like theres no other day for them to drive... and still thinking that until now they're driving a CAMEL here! LOL... you can place your child in passenger seat at the age of 10 and above!

Don't get upset with the above comments/answers.. I know your situation well... rather I too faced the same problem before..

Go and buy a Child seat...practice your child in that and passify him with some juice cans, toys etc..

We all love our kids..no doubt for that... in some factors we should be more stuburn with our kids.. Because it's for their safety.. and that's what we want always...

Take Care.. have a good time..

I cant believe it that your 2 years old can tell you what to do.

My son straight into the car seat the day he came out from the hospital. Till now HE NEVER sit at the front passenger. He always sat at the back and I will never drive off till he buckle up.

First things first. You are not able to control your 2 year old child!!!??? Shame on you. You are unfit to call yourself a parent.

see, almost all the comments are the same.. so hope you develop some common sense and strap your child at the backseat and not let him prevail over you..your child being adamant on something is never an excuse to just give in.. that is why we are called "parents", so have a backbone and be one..

Who is in charge, your 2 year old or you? Strap him in the back where he'll be safe.

child in front

What is better? A screaming living child or a dead child? He WILL learn to love a carseat. I guarantee it. Please love your child enough to BE THE PARENT-- YOU ARE THE BOSS!

Respectfully yours from a mother of 5

Read about the necessary safety standards for children riding in cars. Your options are not in the best for your child.

The penalty is that if you have a crash your child will fly through the windscreen, lacerating their body to pieces before smashing into the road. Or if you put the seat belt on them, they'll have their body practically ripped in two.

If you haven't got the natural parenting sense to put your child in a child seat in the rear of the car then you don't deserve to be a parent.

If you don't have the ability to control your child and tell them that they're not allowed to sit in the front then you don't deserve to be a parent.

Oh yes, there's also a monetary and points fine.

agree with tess_916 think about your child's safety.. they are not human airbags ok...your child is adamant in sitting up front? you are the parent, he should be the one obeying you, not the other way around.. :/

Do not think about the penalty. Instead, think of your child's SAFETY. Even if your child insists, the right way should be followed, as a 2-year old does not know what is right from wrong.
