FRIEND VISA FROM UK
Dear QL members.
I would probably think that this has been asken on numerous occasions, however i wonder if you good people could help. My friend from the UK is arriving tomorrow on Qatar Airways from Gatwick to visit me for 5 days. He has a UK passport, however he contacted me last night to imform me that the Qatar Embassy has a list of countries where you can get a visa upon arrival, this however does not include the UK. Before obtaining my residents visa i flew to Qatar a few times and got a 30day visa upon arrival give them your credit card etc, is this still the case. I have provided my friend my contact and address details in Qatar.
So to that end would anyone be kind enough to inform me of the current situation.
Kind regards Rich
With a UK passport he should be able to get one on arrival, one thing though you will need a credit card, you cant pay it with cash. You can buy a like an ecash card which you top up and then use to pay for government services.
You can apply for one online in advance you may be able to do it today on the gov website.

That's a big change that nobody is aware of. I suspect they have made a mistake and they should be able to get a visa on arrival no problem
Unless he's worked here before he should be able to just walk in
