Hi,
I want to apply for a visit visa for Switzerland. I understand that Switzerland does not have a diplomatic mission in Qatar and I will need to arrange visa through their embassy somewhere else in the Gulf. Any information about the process? how long does it take? What documents one needs to submit to support the application? Any information will be appreciated.

You will need the usual:

6 months recent bank statement

Sponsor letter

Insurance

Hotel booking

Flight booking

Switzerland is now part of Schengen convention. so u can get a schengen visa from French or any other embassy here in Qatar, and then travel to Switzerland on that visa. Good luck...
