last week I had an accident and rear bumber of my car
completely damaged(fault was not mine).i got reports from police and went (accused person's)Insurance company for claiming.now they are telling,I've to give half of the money for genuine spare parts..is it leagal?..what can i do now?..

Insurance companies replace 100% only within the first year., thereafter, they pay only a part of the cost of genuine parts. They will repair and make good the vehicle for you at no cost to you; but they will probably use second hand or inferior quality parts instead. There could be exceptions!
