Thanks for all the response though is quite disheartening.We will try to apply to the Indian Embassy and see showing the visa stamps of 4 years in Dubai.I hope this works. She is like family and we would miss her a lot if we can't bring her along.

I am sorry to give you news that out Indian embassy had banned any housemaid from India.Here gov. may give you visa(which can done after you get rpprocedure 20 to 30 days + visa application for maid 15 days),after this all you may be bring this maid.

AS PER MY INFO . U CAN NOT HIRE HOUSE MAID OF SAME NATIONALITY . PLEASE CHECK IT & CONFIRM AGAIN . ANY QL MEMBER - PLEASE SHARE YOUR INFO / EXPERIENCE .

U CAN POST UR NEED'S QL.OR GULF TIMES OR GO DIRECT TO AN AGENCY FOR HOUSEMAID'S...

Thanks HS- I was told that Indians cannot sponsor Indian house maids. I am aware of the higher salary criteria for Indian maids etc and I would like to do everything legally necessary for this. I would just like to know if the Immigration is stopping Indian maid visas.

Its the same as Dubai.
