BEST PLACE IN QATAR TO PURCHASE KNITTING YARN & KNITTING ACCESSORIES AS PER MY EXPERIENCE todays fashion old airport road near qatar airways tower 1 cont no 44116673
Hi, I knw this was written back in 2009, but thought of adding some details to it, bcos this ws the only informative answer sequence I found under the topic of 'Wool'.
*If you go close to Souq Deer, it will be easier to find 'Singer' shop & 'Rawnaq' area.
*I found some Turkish wool in a shop in the shopping block (Souq Al-Nadaja) almost facing the Souq Waqif Hotel, need to cross the road though. The whole complex will be shut down soon.
*There are some Chinese wool available @ 'Taliban' Store close to Mumtaza area. Not sure abt the road, but almost everyone knws the shop by name.
* Bastook - Thank you for the map, it really helped to locate the place.
Hi! you could try a store near Souq Asisri (SINGER was the name i believe), it's just beside a music store. See link here:
And try also Al Rawnaq at Souq Asiri. See link also for getting there (note: in the map go to Rawnaq 2, not Rawnaq 1 coz they just sell bags there.. unless you're interested in them too:) link here:

You can't find a good quality wool here in Qatar.
the ones at Al Rawnaq are good, but not that great in value,
I always buy them when I travel, or ask someone to get them to me.
