i just want to ask following questions. i'm now in doha, without a residence permit, so i'm not able to rent a p.o box for the next few months.
i need some documents and parcels from europe. i've a physical address of my flat and also from my office.
if i use these physical addresses, do i receive these documents and parcels from europe? without a p.o box? i'm in dire need and would be happy if you give me some details and explaine me some guidelines about the post habits in qatar. shukran lakum

very urgent and important documents ask them send by courier (DHL)or other company.
courier copmany will deliver your documents safely to your office as will as residance.
but your mob. and ph. no should be with your address.
Until you get your own P.O.Box (which is very hard to get anyway) use your works P.O.Box thats what most of the Expats do here.
Many people here use their work PO Box - its seems pretty normal and am sure it wouldn't be a problem.
Ask them , to send it to ur neighbour , since u stay in flat ,

why without a PO Box ?..
here in GCC countries, no post is delivered on physical address. Even if you send by Courier service , you need to mention a PO box, along with your Mobile number and physcial address.
If u are adamant not to give your PO box, pls try wtih your phyisical address, but also tell the sender to mention your mobile number in BOLD LETTERS. The courier company will call you to find the way to reach you to deliver the parcel.
