ezdan... the soap opera!

Just to amuse the lucky people who DONT live in this s***hole...

Just past midnight... and I woke up with the stinky smell coming trough my air conditioning... and it is not even on. Of course the corridor is also stinking some weird food... and everyone else is sharing the "gift"!

Oh my God... give me a little more patience...

Good night SIIIIIIIIIIIR...

Khalid_Abdul... Living at Ezdan is a nightmare. I wish I could have left this place but now that I am probably going to relocate I wont bother.

Have to say, it is a disgrace that a place so poor in every single ways is allowed to be open.

The smell of garbage is disgusting, I complained so many times that you would not believe it.

It is hard to say good things about the standard of service in doha.

The Ezdan management is more elusive than OBL ..:)

I have friends who stay there, I won't visit them in Ezdan Towers anymore as I get sick. The smell of garbage is in many of the hallways, and 2 times saw roaches in the apartment, one in the kitchen and the other coming through hole in bathroom roof! Also one on the floor in the living room. My friends are clean, it wasn't their fault. Their bathroom always has water on the floor, leaking from the bad pipes, AC not so good. Management only cares about money, money & more money, care nothing about service. Also, all their lamps are burned out too, cheap bulbs, cheap lamps, cheap wiring? They buy their own bulbs, also bunrt out. TV reception horrible. Elevator scares me, it moves up and down when I get it, like bungie cord! I am ashamed my countrymen allow such a place to be build, they should tear it down.

Lol, I guess you guys shouldn't have complained that they never wash the windows!

Have you noticed that in the hotel classification section in the Marhaba, that Ezdan has been "awaiting classification" for quite some time now?

Is that their way of saying "0 stars", without making the owner and management look bad?

Just heard a new one from a colleague living in Tower 4.

He walked in from work to find water pouring in through the window. It seems they were washing the windows from the outside.

He complained to the reception. An "engineer" came. Looked at the water and said he'd come back. Its been three hours since then. No more engineer and there's water all over the room..

Rizks....I need swimming pool...landscaped gardens & Helipad...

After all I have to reply to emails & females through my Blackberry ...which confirms with ..."email sent remotely using blackberry"...I m glad it doesnt mention the place and position I am in when I send the message ;-)

Then I have to shoot off to different business meetings & presentation (its cool to say "using my Mac" to people unfamiliar with computers) ...this would not be possible without a chopper & a helipad ...

.....you see little Rizks :)

I've just had a thought which puts everything in perspective.

Carol is actually a sales / marketing type for Ezdan. She posts these threads to keep Ezdan in the media and bring out the curiosity of us mere mortals, who may then be tempted to actually go out and try Ezdan. Just to confirm that what she is saying is correct..

Damned clever ploy!

People just don’t get used to it & get on with their lives! EZDAN has been poorly done(like no other place in doha) & this must be addressed. From what I know that it has been lately highlighted in one of the municipality council proceedings.

why dont u go and stay there and get carol a better place to stay ....:)

Judging from the number of threads Carol has started Ezdan obviously has its problems, but you'll find that most accommodation in Doha is far from perfect. Living here requires a certain special attitude to be able to deal with these daily issues. If venting on QL helps then that's good, but eventually most people just accept it as the norm for this part of the world and get on with their life!

You don't deserve to be in Ezdan. They are providing you gastronomic Aromas of various continents for free and you are complaining..

my fridge is out of gas and its motor is always working - it freaks me out. I have called the engineer and they told its fine...

Is it f***ing fine? its running all time! for hours! I have to go tomorrow to reception to claim.

Both bulbes in bedside tables are off. I think it is fifth time they collapsed. How is that possible? 5 times in six months? Problem in bulbs, in lamps or in electrical installation?

PDC payment is a trap! Tenants are absolutely underprotected in Qatar.
