Check to your pediatrician before you arrange for your flight. Me too, My wife will give birth for our 1st baby early next month and same situation we do not have any relatives here, that is why we are forced to send our baby to our home country and our doctor (from Qatar Medical Center) advice us to leave 3 to 4 weeks after the birth for the safeness or baby's ear drum.

Good luck and congrats!

Congratulation for becoming a father

but one thing better to stay here cause baby will be small, u arrange housemaid temporary or there are a lot of ladies doing massage and caring for baby.

i hope this will be helpful, if u want any service like massage or something do not hesitate to contact me

At this age, people travel with children of all ages in an aircraft, even childbirths occur in flying aircrafts!

To my limited information; Aircraft cabin is pressurised to normal air pressure while fying, only disturbances are at time of take off and landing, at those moments, ask your wife to breast feed the infant. It has two advantages, one that the suckling would not cause pressure on the infants ear drums and again, the intimacy with the mother would cause the infant to think of nothing else.

Congrats on the baby

I think it is safe when the parents feel comfortable enough to fly, We did when our son was almost three weeks.

Do remember that you would require to do your paper work before flying, like new born passport and RP, that might take some time.

Good Luck

Make sure when you prepare milk bottle for landing and take off, to ease the pain when the cabin pressure change.
