FAMILY DAY????

FAMILY DAY....

I WOULD LIKE TO ADDRESS THESE TO THE VILLAGIO MANAGEMENT....

QUESTION?

DO YOU KNOW THE EXACT MEANING OF FAMILY DAY?

FOR MY UNDERSTANDING...FAMILY ARE CONSIST OF FATHER,MOTHER,SISTER,BROTHER,KIDS,PARENTS& COUSIN....

AM I RIGHT???

BUT WAT HAPPEN EACH FRIDAY IS DIFFERENT STORY....

ITS A RACIAL DISCRIMINATION???SPECIALLY ON PART OF THE ASIAN PEOPLE...

WE KNOW THAT ALMOST 50% OF THE EXPATRIATE HERE WHERE FROM SOUT EAST ASIA. WHO WORKS HARD AND NEEDS SOMETIME TO UNWIND & RELAX.

BUT WHAT'S HAPPENING EACH FRIDAY?????

IF YOU'RE A SOUTH ASIAN AND YOU GO TO VILLAGIO WITHOUT A FAMILY MEMBER OR WOMEN WITH YOU.THEY WON'T LET YOU IN.SPECIALLY WHEN YOU COME IN A GROUP.

BUT SURPRISINGLY IF YOURE A LOCAL OR A WHITE PEOPLE.EVEN WITHOUT A FAMILY OR ANY WOMEN. THEY WILL NOT QUESTION YOU...

IS THESE A FAMILY DAY??????

HOPE THESE WILL ENLIGHTENED YOUR MIND TO THE SYSTEM THAT YOURE IMPLEMENTING....

[mod note: thread locked as this has been discussed many times before]

So we might sum it up: In Qatar companies are allowed to discriminate races as they wish. We do live in the year 1427!

It has been a long issue, unless Embassies of South Asian countries could lodge a formal complaint to management of these malls who are implementing a so-called family day.

Yeah, it is right... family day is not family segregation but a racial discrimination in disguise.

i noticed the same thing also. if the guy looks western, then he is allowed entry. but if the guy is from south/ southeast asian, the guard suddenly remembers the family day policy. hello, racial discremination!

We've discussed this numerous times. You are ofcourse correct, but such is the "reality" here. I was in Villagio yesterday..

As I walked in , four Arab males in front of me were allowed in, whilst an Asian was turned away.

Nothing much we can do about it :(

Well to be frank i never find difficulties entering villagio in the so called family day ..

Although i'm always going alone ..

it's just a name but they have other issues to decide your entrance and obviously it's racial discrimination
