Fed lost again :(

Roger Federer lost again. Being one of the successful sportsmen of this era he loses rarely and when its said he lost... invariably its to Rafeal Nadal and its the Australian Open Final.
Its not a big deal….but when you desire something real bad and it always fails to happen at the last minute it really hurts.

I really wanted Federer to win and his latest loss will continue to hurt till next Grand slam, He will reach Pete Sampras record of 14 Grand slams If he had won this title.

Like in life when we fail, we pick up the pieces and proceed and hope against hope that we win one day. I just continue to hope that some day Federer manages to get rid of his bad luck and finally manages to win the crown and beat Nadal in the finals...

Hmmm... I couldn’t help crying when I saw tears in Fed’s eyes….... After all defeat teaches you more lessons than success right?

he is continuously losing all major titles; this time he lost in Semis of Sony Erik in Miami and Andy Murray has picked up title once again..

I'm a fan of his winning streak but he also needs to lose sometimes... just like any other hollywood action movies does.

Victor, which one is this? the most recent one in Sony Ericson? i missed it, i was too tired that night... i read that he lost to djokovic.

he's been losing a lot.. it's like he's not able to catch up with the level of play the other players are into. it's very sad :(

Roland Garros is Nadal's baby. He will most likely win this year again in the French Open.

Not the best match of this year's Australian Open.. The best was Nadal Vs. Verdasco game. Its highly unlikely that Federer will take the Roland Garros Cup this year, he never won a French Open. I just wish him luck on Wimbledon and probably US Open..

am not sure i can handle another rafa-roger match this year. i would love to see roger win grand slams this year and the next. but it would hurt to watch him get himself all worked up trying to beat Nadal. Rafa is younger than him, and has naturally greater stamina than him.

I honestly think Federer has improved....

Maybe in two more opens, if he keeps the intensity, he could win an Open.

Watch out for Wimbeldon....Its gonna be Federer.

But if Rafel looses the top spot he will take a long time to get it back, if he will ever.....his personality I think is like Boris Becker.

yeah, soon after that, i went to search on youtube for the coverage of that ceremony. i downloaded it, and watched it over and over. that guy who screamed "i love you roger!" was lucky. he managed to tell him. the rest of us fans just tell among ourselves, we love this guy. He's the greatest tennis player ever (in my lifetime at least)!

literally crying in tears....felt really upset, World's number ONE player broken into tears...Common Boy Cheer up...this is part of the Game, you will return to same form once again.

This recalled me of my sons usual habit of crying immediately after losing any competition.

Anyways, all kudos to Nadal for his unstinted efforts and courage to fight back against Fed territory!

yeah i like the way Rafa tried to console Roger by encouraging him and wishing him well for the rest of the season. good show of sportsmanship.

After the intensity of the game and the pressure that he was under, it was all understandable. Many sportsmen go through this.

I recall watching my Cuban Shotputter breakdown during a competition when the pressure go too much.

Great match. Great Drama and Great to see both players respevting each other. My eyes moistened up when Federer started crying. Reminded me of the day she went back to Cuba :(

Hi FS, i was also moved by that display of emotions by Roger yesterday. Obviously the 14th title meant a lot to him. He did admit that he had a bad 5th set, he made a lot of unforced erros, kinda like giving it away to Rafa. it was very sad to see him lose to the same person twice!

:(
